Watch of the moment...

There's a lot of talk in the office today about watches, we had an invite to the release of a new Zenith model in Canary Wharf, but i have a real soft spot for Panerai at the moment. Something about the 'chunky yet neat' finish to these classic watches that works so well with a suit and can still be carried off comfortably with a casual outfit.

In particular the Luminor Chrono 44mm Steel and black, I think is a fantastic piece, chunkier than my Planet Ocean and with the extra width of the crown lock (which I previously wasn't sure about!) it just looks like a solid well engineered timepiece.

I think the Luminor Chrono has made the 'possible purchase' list, but I'd certainly like a closer look...
